DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND RESPONSE

Year to year new and new disasters are coming and more and more human communities are forced to leave their native habitat in search of safer places and migrate and relocate to strange locations and thereby human communities are getting more and more vulnerable to calamities and disasters. Therefore disaster management is getting more and more important and more and more people and communities need rescue, relief and rehabilitation services. CBMD is working in the sector and striving towards promotion of community based disaster preparedness and management. It also working for global warming and climate change and organize Conference, Workshops and events and develop networking and collaborations with individuals and organisations.

CBMD actively worked in Covid-19 relief response activities and provided two time cooked food for 1500+ poor labourers in Delhi and Ghaziabad district in UP for 38 days and provided raw ration to hundreds of families during this period
