LIVELIHOODS
CBMD is focused on Rural Employment generation for the development of rural economy and thereby poverty alleviation among the local population it is working with different communities and impart training and capacity building programs depending on the resource base and market situations to open livelihood opportunities for them locally.
KAMDHENU COW CONSERVATION PROGRAM
Cow is an important means of livelihood in rural India and directly influence rural economy. The Indian breeds of cows play an important role in life and wellbeing of rural population not only through the milk, dairy business and agriculture support associated with it but also of the cow dung and cow urine which are rich source of bio fuel and useful in manufacturing many daily utility items, spiritual accessories and Ayurvedic medicines out of it
HEALTH-WATER AND SANITATION
CBMD do strategic interventions among the Communities it works with targeting behavior Changes in life practices using ICT and other communication tools and promote hygienic practices. It also organizes awareness generation and capacity building programs for women and girls on Neo-natal care, old-age care and care for specially abled people and involved in rural an urban WASH Interventions.
SKILL AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT
CBMD has long experience in imparting vocational and skill training programs for poor and vulnerable sections in the society. It also has active involvement in Self Help Promotion activities and microenterprise development and support Women empowerment through SHG enterprise Development and Cluster Institution Building.
DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND RESPONSE
Year to year new and new disasters are coming and more and more human communities are forced to leave their native habitat in search of safer places and migrate and relocate to strange locations and thereby human communities are getting more and more vulnerable to calamities and disasters.
RESEARCH, POLICY ADVOCACY AND EVENTS
CBMD Team has long years of experience in Social Research in conducting Baseline Surveys, DPR, PPR and PCR preparations etc. and have enough exposure in conducting monitoring and evaluations of process based and concurrent monitoring of activities.
CBMD KARUNYA PROJECT
CBMD is planning to start Long Term Geriatric Care Homes and short term care centers for Senior Citizens in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan by 2023 and in both the states CBMD identified land for this purpose and it is in planning and resource mobilization phase and we are trying to start the centers latest by March 2023
